Manual Software Tester - Civil Engineering Bosnia and Herzegovina , Sarajevo , 71000

Key responsibilities:

1. Finding and reporting software flaws, weaknesses and bugs


2. Defining test scenarios, creating test cases and participating in the definition and execution of manual testing and/or automated testing of web and desktop applications


3. Document testing results and maintain QA documentation, test cases, test scenarios etc.


4. Cooperating with development team and QA team to define test plans for releases and identify areas of risk to existing functionality


5. Staying updated with emerging technologies/industry trends and applying them into operations and activities


6. Collaborating with team members and supporting them with all needed data


7. Mentoring and coaching new junior employees and interns, participating in personal/professional workshops in order to maintain professional knowledge and behavior


8. Participating in meetings, conferences, and company team activities

1. Bachelor degree in civil engineering


2. 1 year of working experience


3. Familiarity with Git, Bitucket, Jenkins and other development tools (would be considered as advantage)


4. Understanding of BIM is a plus

Specific Job Skills:

Advanced knowledge of various types of testing. Advanced knowledge of IT quality assurance governance processes and procedures. Experience with finding and reporting software flaws, weaknesses and bugs. Experience with Scrum and Kanban methodology and Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence and Trello. Experience with test automation, test script creation, and modification. Experience with one or more automated testing tools and frameworks such as TestComplete, Katalon, Ranorex, Robot framework, Selenium, Protractor etc. Excellent command of English language both written and oral.
